The FBI’s UCR Program collects statistics on the number of offenses known to law enforcement. In the traditional Summary Reporting System (SRS), there are eight crimes, or Part I offenses, (murder and nonnegligent homicide, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, motor vehicle theft, larceny-theft, and arson) to be reported to the UCR Program. The Richmond Heights Police Department responded to 61 traffic accidents in the month of February 2020. This is down from the 67 accidents that were handled in February 2019. For the year, we have responded to 121 accidents. This is 13 less than the same time period in 2019.

Store Security reported an adult male stole over $399.00 worth of merchandise and fled the store. The suspect was later apprehended a short distance from the store and arrested. The suspect was later released pending warrant application by the State Prosecutor. |
