June 2021 Accident Statistics

The Richmond Heights Police Department responded to 54 traffic accidents in the month of June 2021.  This is up from the 45 accidents that were handled in June of last year.   For the year, we have documented 310 accidents. This is 63 more than the same time period last year.

The Richmond Heights Police Department responded to 44 traffic accidents in the month of March 2021.  This is up from the 36 accidents that were handled in March 2020.   For the year, we have responded to 141 accidents. This is 16 less than the same time period in 2020.

The Richmond Heights Police Department responded to 45 traffic accidents in the month of February 2021.  This is down from the 61 accidents that were handled in February 2020*.   For the year, we have responded to 97 accidents. This is 24 less than the same time period in 2020*.

*This decrease can be attributed, in part, to the significant drop in vehicle traffic due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Richmond Heights Police Department responded to 52 traffic accidents in the month of January 2021.  This is down from the 60 accidents that were handled in January 2020.

December 2020 Accident Statistics

The Richmond Heights Police Department responded to 64 traffic accidents in December 2020.  This is down from the 84 accidents that were handled in December 2019*.  For the year, we have responded to 538 accidents. This is 306 less than the same time period in 2019*.  It should be noted that this includes accidents that occur on private property.  For accidents that occurred only on public roadways, we responded to 497 in 2020.  This was significantly less than the 778 we responded to in 2019*.

The Richmond Heights Police Department responded to 58 traffic accidents in the month of November 2020.  This is down from the 78 accidents that were handled in November 2019*.   For the year, we have responded to 474 accidents. This is 286 less than the same time period in 2019*.
