April 2023 NIBRS Group A Crime Comparisons

The FBI’s National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) Program captures details on each single crime incident—as well as on separate offenses within the same incident—including information on victims, known offenders, relationships between victims and offenders, arrestees, and property involved in crimes.  For more information, visit the FBI’s NIBRS website.

April 2023 Accident Statistics

The Richmond Heights Police Department responded to 55 traffic accidents in the month of April 2023.  This is equal to the 55 accidents that were handled in April 2022.  For the year, there have been 225 reported traffic crashes, 17 less than in the same time period in 2022.

March 2023 Accident Statistics

The Richmond Heights Police Department responded to 58 traffic accidents in the month of March 2023.  This is down from the 63 accidents that were handled in March 2022.  For the year, there have been 170 reported traffic crashes, 17 less than in the same time period in 2022.

Attempted Stolen Auto A vehicle was broken into while parked in the Galleria parking lot. The steering column was damaged by the subject in an attempt to steal the vehicle. Investigation is continuing.

February 2023 Accident Statistics

The Richmond Heights Police Department responded to 58 traffic accidents in the month of February 2023.  This is down from the 64 accidents that were handled in February 2022.  For the year, there have been 112 reported traffic crashes, 12 less than in the same time period in 2022.
