June 2015 Accident Statistics

The Richmond Heights Police Department responded to 58 traffic accidents in the month of June, 2015.  For the year, we have responded to 383 accidents.  This is 24 more than the same time period in 2014.

Lane Closures on Highway 40

Due to upcoming sound wall repairs, the following road closures are expected:

  • On Wednesday, June 17 – Crews will close one westbound lane at McCausland from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • On Thursday, June 18th, MODoT crews will close the ramp from Big Bend and the ramp from Bellevue onto the interstate between from 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.  They will also close one westbound lane on the interstate.
  • Friday, June 19, crews will close one lane on eastbound I-64 from Brentwood to Boland and the auxiliary lane between Hanley and Big Bend.  The ramp from Hanley to eastbound I-64 will remain open.

May 2015 Accident Statistics

The Richmond Heights Police Department responded to 74 traffic accidents in the month of May, 2015.  For the year, we have responded to 325 accidents.  This is 18 more than the same time period in 2014.

Schnuck’s lot

 Assault Victim reported that upon parking her vehicle, an adult male opened his car door striking her vehicle.  The victim reported that the suspect walked away despite damage to her vehicle.  When she confronted him the suspect pushed and cursed at her. The suspect was arrested and later released on a summons.
