Each year at this time the Richmond Heights PD responds to calls for stolen cars that have been left running and unattended to warm up. Please do not leave your vehicle unattended while running or with the keys in it. As always, don’t leave valuable personal property inside your vehicle. Report suspicious behavior in your neighborhoods to police immediately. The Richmond Heights Police Department responded to 68 traffic accidents in the month of September, 2015. Update (10/7/2015): During the evening of 10/6/2015, several more unlocked vehicles were ransacked in the area of Arch Terrace, Surrey Hills and the Sheridan Hills neighborhood (red shaded area). Please remove valuables and secure your vehicles. As always, report any suspicious activity immediately. Overnight (Sept 29-30), numerous unlocked cars were unlawfully entered and rifled through. These cars were parked in the neighborhood bordered by Hwy I-64, Wise Ave, Big Bend and Boland (green shaded area). Please report any suspicious activity by calling 911. [wpgmza id=”7″] |
