The FBI’s UCR Program collects statistics on the number of offenses known to law enforcement. In the traditional Summary Reporting System (SRS), there are eight crimes, or Part I offenses, (murder and nonnegligent homicide, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, motor vehicle theft, larceny-theft, and arson) to be reported to the UCR Program. This is down from the 98 accidents that were handled in December 2018. For the year, we have responded to 844 accidents. This is only 3 more than the same time period in 2018. It should be noted that this includes accidents that occur on private property. For accidents that occurred only on public roadways, we responded to 778 in 2019. last updated 2/7/2020
The Richmond Heights Police Department responded to 78 traffic accidents in the month of November 2019. This is down from the 89 accidents that were handled in November 2018. For the year, we have responded to 760 accidents. This is only 17 more than the same time period in 2018. last updated 1/6/2020
