June 2021 Accident Statistics

The Richmond Heights Police Department responded to 54 traffic accidents in the month of June 2021.  This is up from the 45 accidents that were handled in June of last year.   For the year, we have documented 310 accidents. This is 63 more than the same time period last year.

Recent Car Break-Ins

 

Update: The subject has been identified and was taken into custody.

On the night of 07/09/2021 over a dozen vehicles were broken into at local parking lots. At least one firearm was reported stolen and the four suspects involved fled the area at a high rate of speed when officers attempted to pull them over.  They were last seen occupying a gray or silver Honda Accord traveling east on Interstate 64.

The pictured individual is a subject of interest in these incidents. Anyone with information regarding the identity of this individual or has any information regarding these incidents is asked to contact the Richmond Heights Detective Bureau at (314) 655-3610.

Burglary The resident reported that their estranged son who suffers from mental illness entered their residence through a window and stole their vehicle keys. He then stole the vehicle from their driveway. The investigation is continuing.
