The victim reported that an unknown subject attempted to use his credit card number to make a fraudulent purchase. The transaction was declined by his bank.

All three suspects have been positively identified. One is in custody.
On Wednesday, 09/18/2024 at approximately 5:50 pm, a vehicle hijacking occurred in the parking lot of The Heights Recreation Center located within the City of Richmond Heights. The 72 year old victim was approached by the three black males in the video below and asked to use his cell phone to make a call. One of the subjects then displayed a handgun and demanded the victim’s wallet and car keys. The three subjects entered the victim’s vehicle and drove west on Dale Ave towards S Hanley Rd. The victim’s vehicle is a red 2020 Buick Encore bearing Missouri license NJ9 W5G.
