Victim reported that his girlfriend’s son assaulted him with his fists and pulled out some of his hair.  The 23 year old suspect was arrested and booked for the assault and municipal warrants were applied for.

The Credit Union manager was policing up the front of the building when he discovered a note reading, “I have a gun in the bag and I want 20 thousand dollars now in one hundred dollar bills NOW”.  The note was turned over to the police.

Victim reported someone had gained entry to his house through a side window.  A one gallon glass jar full of coins was taken.

Victim reported someone had gained entry to his house by prying open the rear door.  An electric guitar and several DVD’s were taken.  A person of interest was located a block from the scene and taken into custody on unrelated charges.  He will be questioned in connection with both burglaries.

Officers were called to investigate a shoplifting from Casual Male, 1026 S. Brentwood.  Officers located the suspect on the lot of the Galleria and detained him for further investigation.  The suspect became loud and verbally abusive and threatened to spit on one of the officers.  He was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and booked at the Richmond Heights jail.  He was released pending application of a municipal warrant.

Victim reported someone had forced open the side door to his home stealing jewelry, laptops, and three handguns.  The following day a search warrant was served at an apartment down the street.  Two adults were taken into custody and the victim’s jewelry was recovered.  Leads are being followed on the missing laptops and handguns.

6/9/12 I-64 @ McCutcheon Domestic Assault

 

Officers responded to the area to investigate and auto accident.  On arrival they spoke with a witness who told them the 19 year old male suspect was striking the female driver while traveling west on the highway and after he grabbed the steering wheel, she lost control of the car and struck the concrete median.  The male suspect, who was the driver’s boyfriend, was arrested for domestic assault.

An argument between the victim and suspect over painting the suspect’s house resulted in the suspect allegedly flourishing a handgun and threatening the victim.  The flourishing was witnessed by a third party and the suspect was entered into the computer as wanted for this incident.

Victim reported he had left his residence at 11:00 p.m.  When he returned at 4:00 a.m. he discovered someone had cut the window screen in his bedroom and entered through the window.  Taken were a flat screen television, digital camera, and jewelry.  The case is currently being investigated.

Store security attempted to stop a 22 year old female for shoplifting.  She fled from security on the parking lot where a bystander attempted to keep her from entering her car.  The suspect was able to get into her vehicle and backed from her parking space striking the bystander’s wife who declined medical attention.  Dillard’s security arrived on the scene and was able to extract the female from her vehicle and take her into custody.  She was booked and released pending application of a municipal warrant.

Officers responded to a disturbance on Hiawatha at West Bruno and learned two sisters had become involved in an argument over a vehicle.  Both sisters were taken into custody and booked.  One was released with a municipal court summons while the other was issued a summons and held as a fugitive from another agency.

Victim was awakened by the sound of his car alarm.  He discovered someone had tried to get into his vehicle by pealing back the rubber window seal and punching the door lock.

Officers canvassing the area due to a recent attempt vehicle break-in were called to the 7500 block of Hoover for a car alarm sounding.  On arrival officers located a vehicle with damage to the driver’s door handle and lock.  The victim was contacted and determined nothing was missing from his car.

While canvassing the area due to recent vehicle break-ins, an office noticed damage to a gray Infiniti parked at the curb.  Closer inspection revealed an attempt was made to enter the vehicle by pealing back the window seal.  The owner did not answer his door and a business card was left.

Victim reported his vehicle was stolen from in front of his house overnight.  The vehicle was unlocked and the keys were left inside.  A vehicle stolen from St. Louis city was recovered nearby (see 12-1345).

Victim reported she returned from vacation and discovered someone had entered her duplex stealing her children’s passports.  She also found her 2011 tax return on her kitchen table.  She suspected her ex-husband was responsible.  He was contacted and the passports were returned.  She desired no further police involvement or prosecution.

Victim reported hearing a noise outside his residence and when he went to investigate observed a white male attempting to break into his vehicle.  Victim called the police but the suspect fled to a waiting gray colored Volkswagen which drove north on Boland.  A screwdriver and coat hanger were seized at the scene.  Victim believes this may be related to his impending divorce.

Schnucks reported a 37 year old female passed a counterfeit check at the Richmond Center store totaling $242.16.  Suspect was arrested in Swansea, Illinois and admitted to making the checks on her home computer and passing them in Illinois and Missouri for thousands of dollars.

A female exiting the store set off the sensor alarm.  She was asked to return inside but refused and made her way to a waiting vehicle.  Empty boxes of shoes were found at the point where the female had been standing.  The vehicle was entered as wanted and the follow-up handled at the patrol level.

While on patrol, an officer witnessed a minor accident on the lot of the Circle K gas station.  When driver #1 tried to apologize to driver #2, driver #2 exited his vehicle and became irate enough to attract the attention of those around him.  When the officer tried to defuse the situation, driver #2 began to loudly curse the officer creating a further disturbance.  Driver #2 was arrested for peace disturbance and conveyed to the station.  He was booked and held for municipal warrant application.  His vehicle was towed from the scene.

Officers were called to the 1500 block of Collins for subjects shouting and yelling in the street.  On their arrival several of the subjects were attempting to leave in a vehicle and were detained.  One of the subjects fled to his residence at 1505 Collins and refused officers commands to return.  After officers determined none of the other parties were wanted they were allowed to leave the area.  Officers then contacted the resident at 1505 Collins and her 17 year old son.  Refusing to hear what the officers had to say, the mother became combative and belligerent with them. She forced her son back inside the residence and refused any further contact.  This house has become a nuisance residence with more than 23 calls during the past two years.  The city’s prosecuting attorney will be made aware of the situation.

Officers were called to deal with an intoxicated 37 year old female who was refused admittance to the theatre.  She was transported to the station to call someone to pick her up.  A short time later officers were called to check on a female walking south in the middle of Big Bend.  The same intoxicated woman became uncooperative with the officers and was taken into custody for disorderly conduct.  She was booked at the station and later released on a municipal court summons.
