Garden Heights Nursery

 Stealing After a suspect was identified, Detectives responded to the residence of the adult female suspect in Fairview Heights, IL.  Detectives had discovered the suspect had landscaped and decorated her property with over $2000.00 in stolen property. The property was seized and returned to Garden Heights.  Warrant application will be made with the State Prosecutor at a later time.

 Stealing Store Loss Prevention Agents took custody of an adult female for stealing $101.00 in merchandise.  The suspect was arrested and during processing, she slipped her handcuffs and ran from the scene. The suspect was apprehended and additionally charged with Escape from Custody.  The suspect was held pending warrant application with the Municipal Prosecutor.

The vehicle was entered into a national database as stolen.  The investigation is continuing.

 Leaving the Scene – Accident A motor vehicle crash occurred while the striking vehicle was being pursued by St. Louis City Police.  The driver and occupants fled the vehicle and were later apprehended by responding Officers. The driver of the vehicle was arrested for Leaving the Scene of a Motor Vehicle Accident and was later released to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department where he was wanted for Assault First Degree.
