The Richmond Heights Police Department responded to 57 traffic accidents in the month of April 2021. This is up from the 17 accidents that were handled in April 2020. For the year, we have responded to 198 accidents. This is 24 more than the same time period in 2020. Accidents by Day of Week / Time of Day  2018-2021 Accident Comparison The Richmond Heights Police Department responded to 44 traffic accidents in the month of March 2021. This is up from the 36 accidents that were handled in March 2020. For the year, we have responded to 141 accidents. This is 16 less than the same time period in 2020. Accidents by Day of Week / Time of Day  2018-2021 Accident Comparison The Richmond Heights Police Department responded to 45 traffic accidents in the month of February 2021. This is down from the 61 accidents that were handled in February 2020*. For the year, we have responded to 97 accidents. This is 24 less than the same time period in 2020*. *This decrease can be attributed, in part, to the significant drop in vehicle traffic due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
