The Richmond Heights Police Department responded to 17 traffic accidents in the month of April 2020. This is down from the 67 accidents that were handled in April 2019*. For the year, we have responded to 174 accidents. This is 91 less than the same time period in 2019*. *This decrease can be attributed, in part, to the significant drop in vehicle traffic due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Accidents by Day of Week / Time of Day  2017-2020 Accident Comparison The Richmond Heights Police Department responded to 36 traffic accidents in the month of March 2020. This is down from the 64 accidents that were handled in March 2019*. For the year, we have responded to 157 accidents. This is 41 less than the same time period in 2019*. *This decrease can be attributed, in part, to the significant drop in vehicle traffic due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Accidents by Day of Week / Time of Day  2017-2020 Accident Comparison The Richmond Heights Police Department responded to 61 traffic accidents in the month of February 2020. This is down from the 67 accidents that were handled in February 2019. For the year, we have responded to 121 accidents. This is 13 less than the same time period in 2019.
