Officers responded to the H & M store where security had detained a subject for stealing $116.70 worth of clothing.  The subject was arrested and held pending a muni warrant application.

Officers responded to the True Religion store where two subjects had just stolen $957 worth of jeans.  A witness obtained a license plate for the vehicle in which the subjects fled.

The victim reported that while she was pumping gas she observed an unknown subject exit from her vehicle stealing her wallet and make up bag.  The victim stated that subject then ran south from the scene.

Officers responded to Macy’s where security detained a juvenile for stealing $19.98 in clothing.  The juvenile was arrested and transported to the County Juvenile Detention Center.

Officers responded to Macy’s where security detained a juvenile for stealing $50 in clothing.  The juvenile was arrested and transported to the County Juvenile Detention Center.

Officers responded for the report of several homes and vehicles vandalized on Thomas and Bredell. Many of the incidents included graffiti that was racist in nature.  A subject was arrested and transported to St. Mary’s Hospital where he was admitted for a 96 hours psych evaluation with a further investigation to follow.  Muni warrants were issued.

Three subjects entered the Rally House store and stole $526.98 worth of clothing merchandise.  Investigation is ongoing.

Owner reported suspect(s) broke into five vehicles overnight that were parked on his lot. The suspect(s) had damaged all vehicles while making entry and to the interior of the vehicles while attempting to steal certain accessorizes. There are no suspect(s) at this time. The case was referred to the Detective Bureau for investigation.

Macy’s security officers took one female into custody for stealing women’s clothing from the Intimates Department. The suspect was transported to the Richmond Heights Police Department where she was booked then released on a Richmond Heights Municipal Court summons.

A male suspect grabbed several articles of INC brand merchandise, and ran out the Brentwood doors attempting to escape. He dropped the clothing when confronted by a Galleria Security Officer at the exit door, then ran to a Jeep Cherokee that was waiting for him on the parking lot making good their escape. The plate number for the Jeep was obtained by Galleria security. A Richmond Heights Officer assigned to the Galleria was able to develop and identify the suspect. The suspect has been entered as wanted.

Victim reported sometime overnight suspect(s) had gained entry to their residence while he and his wife were asleep. The suspect(s) stole a desktop computer, briefcase, three cell phones and an I-Pad from different areas inside the residence. It was later discovered the suspect(s) had stolen a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder from the rear driveway. There are no suspect(s) identified at this time. The case has been assigned to the Detective Bureau for investigation.

Two females were taken into custody for stealing several articles of women’s clothing. The two females had concealed the merchandise in a diaper bag then walked out of the store where they were taken in custody by Macy’s security.

Six vehicles were forcibly broken into while parked unoccupied between 19:30 and 22:00 hours. The suspect(s) broke out several of the vehicles’ door windows to gain entry. Items stolen from the vehicles included computer laptops, ladies wallet, clothing, a Tote bag of personal items, etc. Cases assigned the Detective Bureau.

An adult female and a juvenile were arrested for shoplifting several pieces of women’s clothing. Both suspects took the merchandise from the show room to the fitting room where they concealed the items in large purses. The suspects were taken into custody as they attempted to leave the store. The case has been referred to the Richmond Heights Municipal Court and St Louis County Family Court.

Victim reported between 11/10/12 at 22:00 hours and 11/11/12 at 0:45 hours, suspect(s) entered her apartment through an unlocked bathroom window and stole all her undergarments along with some medication. Nothing else in the apartment was disturbed. The case has been referred to the Detective Bureau.

Victim reported her daughter left the residence for about 45 minutes leaving the front door unlocked. During this time suspect(s) entered the house and stole a laptop computer from the dining room table.

Officers responded to a fight between two females at the restaurant. Investigation resulted in a primary aggressor being identified and that person being arrested. The subject was released on a muni court summons.
11/17/12 1300 (blk) Hawthorne Peace Disturbance

 

Officers responded to an apartment for a loud party, discovering a large and unruly party. Upon contacting the tenant and ordering the party disbursed, the tenant and the attendees ignored the officers.  The tenant was arrested and the attendees then left.  The tenant was held on a muni warrant application.

Officers responded to Macy’s where two juveniles were being detained by security for stealing $191.50 worth of clothing merchandise. The juveniles were arrested and later released to their respective parents.

A male suspect customer started yelling racial obscenities at a cashier as he was checking out. The suspect continued to cause a disturbance so he was escorted out of the store by management and security. When they got outside the store, the suspect punched the security officer in the face and a fight ensued. The suspect was held until officers could arrive. He was arrested for Assault 3rd, Disorderly Conduct and Carrying a Concealed Weapon (brass knuckles). The case was referred to the Richmond Heights Municipal Court.

A terminated Dillard’s employee refused to leave the store and caused a minor disturbance. Security and police arrived on scene and the suspect still reused to leave. The suspect was ultimately arrested for trespassing and later released on a muni court summons.
11/19/12 1400 (blk) Hawthorne Domestic Assault

 

Police responded to a call for a violent domestic incident in progress. Investigation revealed a female victim was punched in the face by her ex-boyfriend.  The ex-boyfriend was arrested and held on a muni warrant application.
11/20/12 7500 (blk) Warner Runaway Juvenile

 

Officers responded to a residence for the report of a runaway juvenile. The mother stated that her 16 year old son ran away from home. The mother reported that her son has run away several times in the past. Officers of this agency and Maplewood PD checked the juvenile’s usual hangout and friend’s residences with no success. The son was entered as a runaway juvenile with a statewide teletype broadcast with his pedigree information.

Officers responded to the Galleria police where mall security had escorted a juvenile who stole $158 worth of clothing merchandise from the Buckle store. The juvenile was transferred to the County Juvenile Detention Center.

Officers responded to assist Galleria security with a trespasser. Investigation resulted in the trespasser being arrested and additionally charged with false information and possession of a theft device. Due to the subject having felony warrant, she was released pending a muni warrant application.

Victim reported her vehicle stolen from the second level of the parking garage while she was shopping. The vehicle was later recovered in S. Louis City.

The manager from the Hollister store reported that a subject attempted to pass counterfeit $20 bills. An associate of the subject was located and identified by mall security. The Secret Service is investigating further.

Officers responded to Love Culture where security had detained a subject for stealing $205.80 in clothing merchandise. The subject was arrested and held on a muni warrant application.

The resident reported that he discovered items belonging to his daughter and grandson were missing. He then discovered minor damage to his front door and a window. The resident believes his grandson, whom he just evicted, broke in to the residence and took these items.

Officers responded to a residence for a subject, unknown to the resident, knocking on the door and trying to make entry. The subject was intoxicated and uncooperative. The subject was ultimately arrested and later released on a muni court summons.

Reference report number 12-2493 where a debit card was stolen.  The same debit card was used to make fraudulent purchases at several stores in the Galleria. A suspect was identified via her Facebook page.  Investigation is ongoing.

Victim stated that while traveling on I-170 her vehicle was struck by a Pontiac Grand Prix that quickly drove from the scene.

An officer conducted a vehicle stop on the Galleria lot where investigation resulted in the driver being arrested for trespassing on Galleria property after being previously banned.
11/28/12 Galleria Pkwy @ I-170 Traffic Arrest

 

Upon conducting a traffic stop, officers arrested the driver of the vehicle for outstanding warrants and issued summonses for traffic offenses.  The passenger of the vehicle was found to be in possession of marijuana. The passenger was released pending a muni warrant application.

Officers responded to Macy’s where security had a subject detained for stealing $133 in clothing merchandise. The subject was arrested and later released on a muni court summons.

An officer stopped a vehicle for an expired temporary license tag. Further investigation uncovered the driver of the vehicle to be in possession of marijuana and a pistol. The driver was arrested and later released on a State warrant application.

The Circle K clerk reported that a subject told her that the air machine had malfunctioned and demanded a refund. The clerk advised the patron that the air machine was privately owned and could give no refund.  The patron then stole four packs of gum.
