Officers were called to the residence for a domestic assault. On arrival they spoke with a 30 year old male who told them he’s gotten into a fight with his 39 year old partner. Both subjects were bloodied and appeared to have been in an altercation. With no witnesses to the event, both subjects were taken into custody and booked for domestic assault and held pending a municipal warrant application. |

Officers responding to a vehicle in the roadway on Hanley @ I-64 discovered the driver and passenger asleep. A strong odor of marijuana was emanating from the vehicle. The driver consented to a search of his person which led to the discovery of a baggie of marijuana in his pocket. He was taken into custody for the drug violation. The passenger was also taken into custody after officers learned of outstanding traffic warrants through St. Louis County PD. The vehicle was towed from the scene and while completing the inventory control form officers discovered an additional bag of marijuana in the driver’s door panel pocket. Both occupants were conveyed to the station and booked. The driver was issued a summons for driving while his operator’s license was revoked and possession of marijuana. The passenger was held for St. Louis County PD. |

A sparkler bomb made using consumer grade sparklers was detonated at approximately 10:00 p.m. between two commercial trash dumpsters on the south lot of the church. The resulting explosion caused extensive damage to each of the large metal dumpsters and moving them approximately fifteen feet from one another. Debris from the sparkler bomb penetrated one of the glass window panes on the south side of the school. A glass patio table was demolished from the explosion at #15 Berkshire. There are no suspects at this time. |

Four suspects entered the store with the intent to steal property. Three of the suspect’s grabbed clothing valued at more than $4,000 before fleeing the store to their vehicle parked outside the St. Louis Bread Company. During the theft mall patrons intervened and were able to recover some of the merchandise. The patrons chased the suspects out of the mall but gave up the chase when one of the suspects sprayed the area with pepper spray. |

Officers were called to a patient’s room after she complained she was struck in the face by her baby’s father. The father was currently in custody in the hospital security office. The victim declined to prosecute and the male suspect was released with orders to leave the hospital. A short time later the victim called police saying she’d thought the matter over and wanted to press charges against the father of her child. She completed a complaint form and the matter will be reviewed by the city’s prosecuting attorney. |

At 7:50 a.m., the victim had just left the mall after purchasing a pair of new Air Jordan tennis shoes. While walking to his car, a black 2dr vehicle occupied by four subjects drove by. The front seat passenger exited the vehicle and walked up to the victim while talking about the new Jordan shoe release. Suddenly and without provocation, the suspect struck the victim in the side of his head causing him to lose his grip on his bag containing the tennis shoes. The suspect grabbed the bag and ran back to the black vehicle and got in the front passenger seat making good his escape. The victim declined any medical treatment at the scene. |

Warrants were issued by the Prosecutor’s Office with a $100,000.00 bond. |
