Position Annoucement


Starting Salary: $57,778

Uniform Pay Grade: 2

Candidate Start Date: June 30, 2018 or Earlier

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position which includes a full range of benefits including paid vacation, paid sick leave, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, and employee health, dental,
vision, life, disability, and pension programs.


Performs intermediate protective service work patrolling the Richmond Heights community and responding to law enforcement incidents, and related work as apparent or assigned. A full job description is available here.


Applicants must be 21 years old, possess a valid Drivers License and a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university. State of Missouri Class A P.O.S.T. Certification (640 hours) from an accredited Public Safety Academy is also required. If you will be completing your Bachelor’s Degree and/or P.O.S.T. certification on or before June 30, 2018, you may submit your application for consideration as well.
