Position Annoucement




Starting Salary:  $57,778                                                                               

Uniform Pay Grade:  2

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position that includes a full range of benefits including paid vacation, paid sick leave, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, and employee health, dental, vision, life, disability, and pension programs. 


Performs intermediate protective service work patrolling the Richmond Heights community and responding to law enforcement incidents, and related work as apparent or assigned.  A full job description is available here.


Applicants must be 21 years old, possess a valid Drivers License and a state of Missouri Class A P.O.S.T Certification (640 hours) from an accredited Public Safety Academy. Applicants with less than two years of police experience must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university. Applicants with two or more years of experience must possess an Associate’s Degree or a minimum of 60 credit hours towards a degree from an accredited college or university. If you will be completing your Bachelor’s Degree and/or P.O.S.T. certification on or before March 31, 2021, you may submit your application for consideration as well.
