1/2/11 1550 St. Louis GalleriaMacy’s Department Store Stealing  A 15 year old male and a 13 year old male were arrested for shoplifting. Both were later released to their parents.

Assault on Law Enforcement Officer

 

St. Louis Galleria Security Officers escorted several subjects causing a disturbance out of the Galleria ordering them not return. One of the males involved in the disturbance was seen returning to the Galleria property about 10 minutes later. He assaulted a Galleria security officer when the officer attempted to take him into custody for Trespassing. He was arrested and Richmond Heights Municipal Court warrants were issued for Assault, Trespassing, Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer and Disorderly Conduct.

The victim’s 2003 GMC Yukon was broken into while it was in the parking garage. A GPS was stolen.

Male threatening suicide

 

A male came to the station lobby saying he was suicidal and wanted help. He normally took several depression medications but had recently run out of the medication. Richmond Heights paramedics were called to the scene and, at the male’s request; he was transported to St Mary’s Hospital where he signed himself in for treatment. A Crisis Intervention Team Officer completed a report concerning the matter.

A 22 year old male was arrested, and his car towed, after being stopped for driving 100 mph on Highway 40. He was later released with a court summons.

The victim’s 2007 Nissan 350Z was stolen after he left it running to warm up. It was later recovered in south St. Louis. A 17 year old male and a 16 year old male were arrested in the car. Investigation continues.

Leaving the Scene of an Accident

 

A Schnucks employee reports that her car was struck while she was working. A witness stopped and provided information on the suspect vehicle. Investigation by the department’s Detective Bureau resulted in the suspect’s arrest and subsequent confession.

A pick-up truck, that had been stolen for Lincoln University in Jefferson City (MO), was located parked on the shoulder of the highway. It was unoccupied when located.

Police were investigating a stalled vehicle on the side of the highway when they discovered the 20 year old male occupant to be sleeping. A small bag of marijuana was visible in the car. The male was arrested and later released pending lab results and a case review by the municipal prosecutor.

A 30 year old male soliciting drivers for money was arrested after continually walking into the traffic lanes impeding their flow. He was held pending a case review by the municipal prosecutor.

A 26 year old male was causing a disturbance on the property and was told to leave. After refusing to leave he was arrested. While being arrested he continually pulled away from officers. He was held pending a case review by the municipal prosecutor.

A nurse reported being assaulted by a 48 year old female patient. The female had been admitted to the Emergency Room for severe intoxication. Sometime later she became angry and hit the nurse with her aluminum cane.  The female was later admitted the hospital’s psychiatric ward for evaluation.

The victim states that she left her wallet on a sales counter at Dillard’s. Upon returning the wallet was gone. A call to her credit card company revealed that one of her credit cards had been used at three stores within the Galleria.

While investigating a car accident, officers arrested a 36 year old female driver when it was discovered that her driver’s license was suspended, her car was not registered and she had no insurance. She was held pending a case review by the municipal prosecutor.
