Three female suspects concealed 16 pair of swim trunks in two empty shopping bags they brought into the business. The crime was discovered while an employee was doing inventory on 3/20/12. The Loss Prevention Associate reviewed the CCTV discovering the theft. The case has been forwarded to the Detective Bureau.

Officers were dispatched to a vehicle accident on eastbound I64 near Bellevue with one of the drivers, a male, running from the scene of the accident. After being notified by neighbors and witnesses, the fleeing male driver was taken into custody in a rear yard in the 1300 block of Bellevue. The male driver was in possession of Marijuana and a small weight scale. It was later found the vehicle the male driver was operating was entered as a stolen vehicle by the St. Louis City Police Department. During an inventory search of the vehicle, a .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun was found fully loaded in the passenger area. The male driver and female passenger, the other occupant of the vehicle were arrested. Warrants will be applied for with the St Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
