Macy’s Department Store

Stealing

A 15 year old female and a 16 year old female were arrested for shoplifting. Their parents could not be located so they were turned over to County Juvenile Authorities.

6/1/11	1155 St. Louis Galleria Shopping Mall	Stealing	The victim reports that her wallet was stolen while she was at the Galleria. One of her credit cards was then used at several stores in the area. Investigation continues.
6/1/11	1550 St. Louis Galleria Macy’s Department Store	Stealing	A 26 year old male was arrested for shoplifting and held pending a case review by the municipal prosecutor.
6/2/11	7300 Blk Goff Private Residence	Vandalism	The owner of a vacant property found that someone had broken a window in the front door.
6/2/11	6555 St. Louis Galleria SK Jewelers	Burglary	The business owner reported $4,750 in diamond earrings were stolen from the kiosk overnight.
6/2/11	6510 Clayton Road Pulaski Bank	Fraud	A female suspect tried to cash a stolen check in the amount of $400 but was thwarted by bank personnel.
6/3/11	1550 St. Louis Galleria Macy’s	Stealing	A 17 year old male and a 16 year old juvenile accomplice were taken into custody after concealing merchandise and leaving the store without paying for it. The 17 year old male was booked and released on a summons while the juvenile was taken to the St. Louis Family Court building when his parents could not be reached.
6/3/11	1550 St. Louis Galleria Macy’s	Stealing	Two juvenile males were taken into custody for shoplifting. They were released to their parents and the matter forwarded to the St. Louis County Family Court.
6/3/11	1155 St. Louis Galleria Parking Lot	Stealing	Victim reported his HP laptop was stolen from his vehicle and admitted leaving the back window of his car down allowing access to the computer.
6/4/11	1100 Blk Moorlands Drive	Stealing	Victim reported her iPhone was stolen from her back porch and suspects an AT&T serviceman who had been at the house to disconnect service.
6/5/11	1550 St. Louis Galleria Macy’s	Stealing	A 20 year old male was taken into custody for shoplifting. He was booked and placed in a holding cell awaiting municipal warrant application.
6/5/11	Schnucks 6600 Clayton	Fraud	A resident reported he was “scammed” on Craigslist while attempting to lease an apartment in the City of Clayton. The victim saw the apartment for lease and called the contact number (in Massachusetts) for the person listing the property. The victim eventually sent $1000.00 via Western Union to the person as a deposit to hold the apartment. The victim became suspicious and found no one by the name given was involved in the listing of the property. Investigation to continue.
6/5/11	Homewood Suites 8040 Clayton	Stealing	Victim reported 4 musical performance tickets were stolen from his room.
6/5/11	Love Culture 2055 St Louis Galleria	Shoplifting	Four juveniles were taken in custody for shoplifting several pieces of clothing. The case was referred to the Family Court.
6/6/11	7500 block of Lindbergh 7500 block of Hiawatha	Property Damage Stealing	Three vehicles were broken into in this immediate area overnight. The only thing missing from the vehicles was loose change.
6/6/11	Macy’s 1550 St Louis Galleria	Stealing	Victim reported she was trying on clothes in the Juniors Department and briefly left her purse in a fitting room. When she returned, her wallet had been stolen out of the purse.
6/6/11	7400 block of Williams	Property Damage	Sometime overnight suspect(s) had punched the door lock of the victim’s vehicle gaining entry. The vehicle had been rummaged through, but nothing had been stolen.
6/6/11	Private residence 1100 Blk Moorlands	Drug violation	A 23 year old female was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia after Officers found the items inside the residence. The suspect was booked, then released pending charges through the Richmond Heights Municipal Court.
6/7/11	Clayton Rd @ Skinker Public Street	Traffic & Drug Violation	A 31 year old male was taken into custody after being stopped for traffic violations. A search of the suspect incident to the arrest revealed marijuana packaged for sale in his pants pocket as well as beneath the front seat of his car. The suspect was booked at the Richmond Heights jail and issued summons for the traffic violations. A state warrant application will be made on the marijuana possession.
6/8/11	1550 St. Louis Galleria Macy’s	Shoplifting	A 17 year old male and 17 year old female were taken into custody for shoplifting. Having no prior record, each was booked and released on a municipal court summons.
6/8/11	1402 S. Hanley Road Hanley Shell	Shoplifting	A 21 year old male was taken into custody after stealing merchandise from the Hanley Shell and trying to make his getaway on a metro bus. He was taken into custody at Dale and Big Bend Avenue and the merchandise recovered. The suspect, who told officers he needed money for drugs, was booked and placed in a holding cell pending application of a municipal warrant.
6/8/11	1100 Edward Terrace Private Driveway	Stealing	Victim reported that sometime during the night someone stole the doors from his Jeep Wrangler.
6/9/11	6600 Clayton Road Schnucks	Disorderly Conduct	Officers were called to the store for an unruly intoxicated subject who refused to leave Schnucks’ property. He was taken into custody after becoming belligerent towards the officers and refusing to obey their commands. The subject was transported to the station where he was booked and issued a summons.
6/9/11	1200 Blk Highland Terr Private Residence	Domestic Assault	Police were called to the residence for a dispute between the residing married couple. Although no arrests were made information of the incident will be forwarded to the municipal prosecutor for review.
6/10/11	7200 Blk Delta Private Residence	Domestic Assault	Police were called to the residence for a dispute between the resident and his ex-wife. No arrests were made in this incident but information will be forwarded to the municipal prosecutor for review.
6/11/11	7400 Blk Rupert Private Residence	Stealing	The victim report’s that his mountain bike was stolen from the back porch of the house during the afternoon.
6/11/11	8001 Dale Ave The Heights Community Center	Stealing	The victim reports that his wallet was stolen from the locker his was using. He said he had left the locker unlocked.
6/11/11	1550 St. Louis Galleria Macy’s Department Store	Stealing	A 17 year old male was arrested for shoplifting and later released with a court summons.
6/11/11	Hwy I-64 Public Highway	Possession of Narcotics	The traffic stop of a 38 year old male resulted in his arrest when narcotics were found in his possession.
6/12/11	2073 St. Louis Galleria Claire’s Store	Stealing	A 14 year old female was arrested for shoplifting and later released to her parents.
6/13/11	7700 Blk Weston Place Private Residence	Possession of Narcotics	Richmond Heights Detectives were assisting Clayton Police Detectives on the arrest of the 22 year old resident. During that arrest narcotics were located in the house and the male was additionally charged.
6/13/11	8040 Clayton Rd Homewood Suites Hotel	Stealing	The victim states that several rolls of coins were stolen from his hotel room. Investigation continues.
6/14/11	1550 St. Louis Galleria Macy’s Department Store	Stealing	A 30 year old female was arrested for shoplifting and later released with a municipal court summons.
6/14/11	1550 St. Louis Galleria Macy’s Department Store	Stealing	A 19 year old female and a 21 year old female were arrested for shoplifting and later released with court summonses.
6/15/11	1700 Princeton Private Residence	Stealing	A male subject was interrupted while trying to steal a bicycle from the detached garage. The male left the area. Investigation continues.
6/15/11	1491 St. Louis Galleria Urban Outfitters	Stealing	A 20 year old male was arrested for shoplifting and later released with a court summons.
6/15/11	6600 Clayton Rd Schnucks Pharmacy	Fraud	A 25 year old female was arrested while trying to fraudulently obtain prescription narcotics. Investigation continues.
6/16/11	1114 S. Brentwood The Boulevard Parking Lot	Property Damage	The victim reports that her car was damaged while parked on The Boulevard’s south parking lot. Damage appears to have been cause by someone throwing rocks at the car.
6/16/11	1200 Blk Lay Rd Private Residence	Domestic Assault	A 44 year old male was arrested after a physical altercation with his wife. He did resist arrest and was additionally charged. He was held pending a case review by the municipal prosecutor.
6/17/11	1100 Blk McKnight Private Residence	Burglary	The residence was burglarized during the afternoon. Accessed was gained by forcing the rear door open. Investigation continues.
6/17/11	1550 St. Louis Galleria Macy’s Department Store	Stealing	A 17 year old male was arrested for shoplifting and later released with a court summons.
6/18/11	1491 St. Louis Galleria Urban Outfitters	Stealing	A 15 year old female was arrested for shoplifting and later released to her mother.
6/18/11	2126 St. Louis Galleria Hollister Store	Stealing	An 18 year old female was arrested for shoplifting. She was additionally charged with Trespassing when it was found that she had been banned from the mall earlier in the year due to a prior arrest. She was held pending a case review by the municipal prosecutor.
6/20/11	1100 Blk Edward Terr Public Street	Property Damage	The victim reports that someone shattered all the windows of her vehicle overnight. Her vehicle was parked on the street at the time of the incident.
6/20/11	1105 St. Louis Galleria Dillard’s Department Store	Stealing	A 19 year old male was arrested for shoplifting and later released with a court summons.
6/20/11	6420 Clayton Rd St. Mary’s Hospital	Stealing	The wallets of two emergency room employees were stolen from their purses. A credit card from one of the wallets was later used at a nearby gas station. Investigation continues.
6/21/11	1600 Blk Bellevue Apartment parking lot	Stealing	The victim reports that her mountain bike was stolen from where it was kept outside the rear of the building. She advised that it was taken several weeks ago and was not locked at the time of theft.
6/21/11	7000 Blk Clayton Rd Public Roadway	Suspended Driver’s License	The traffic stop of a 23 year old female resulted in her arrest when it was found that her driver’s license was suspended. She was later released with a court summons.
6/22/11	1417 St. Louis Galleria Champs Sporting Goods	Burglary	Someone shattered the front window of the business and stolen several hats. The incident occurred overnight. Investigation continues.
6/22/11	1550 St. Louis Galleria Macy’s Department Store	Stealing	A 14 year old male was arrested for shoplifting. His parents could not be located so he was turned over to juvenile authorities.

6/23/11	Galleria Pkwy @ I-170 Public Sidewalk	Robbery	Five juveniles were arrested after assaulting a man and stealing his cell phone.
6/23/11	7900 Blk Elinor Public Street	Accidental Injury	A 20 year old male was conveyed to an area hospital after suffering a head laceration from a skateboarding accident.
6/24/11	1201 S. Big Bend Public Sidewalk	Stealing	A 38 year old female was arrested after she stole a sign belonging to protesters. She was later released with a court summons.
6/24/11	2126 St. Louis Galleria Hollister Store	Stealing	An 18 year old male was arrested for shoplifting and held pending a case review by the municipal prosecutor.
6/24/11	1800 Princeton MRH Elementary School	Stealing	The victim parked his bicycle in front of the school in the morning. When he returned in the afternoon it was gone.
6/24/11	1550 St. Louis Galleria Macy’s Department Store	Stealing	A 14 year old male was arrested for shoplifting and later turned over to his parents.
6/26/11	7400 Blk Rupert Private Residence	Property Damage	The owner of a vacant property discovered that someone, over the course of the last few days, had kicked in the rear door. Nothing was missing or damaged inside the residence.
6/26/11	1105 St. Louis Galleria Dillard’s Department Store	Invasion of Privacy	Police arrested a 32 year old male after he was found in the ladies restroom looking at women in the adjoining stall. He was later released to another agency seeking his arrest and this case will be forwarded to state prosecutors for review.
6/27/11	1417 St. Louis Galleria Champs Sporting Goods	Burglary	While the store was closed three males used a baseball bat to break the front window of the store. They then stole numerous shirts. Investigation continues.
6/27/11	1200 Blk Lay Rd Private Driveway	Stealing	The victim reports that an iPod, laptop computer and personal items were stolen from her unlocked vehicle while it was parked in the driveway. Investigation continues.
6/27/11	7400 Blk Hoover Private Residence	Fraud	The victim reports several unauthorized internet purchases charged to her credit card. Investigation continues.
6/27/11	7300 Blk Ethel Private Residence	Burglary	The victim reports that her home was burglarized during the day. A television was taken. Investigation continues.
6/28/11	1085 St. Louis Galleria Kids Gap Store	Stealing	A 20 year old female was arrested for shoplifting. She was later released pending a case review by state prosecutors.
6/29/11	1700 Blk Stockard Private Residence	Property Damage	The property owner reports discovering that sometime during the previous month someone had kicked open the basement door of a vacant house.
6/30/11	6420 Clayton Rd Hospital Parking Garage	Property Damage and Stealing	The victim reports that someone broke into her 2009 Chrysler 300 and stolen her purse.
6/30/11	6706 Clayton Rd Esquire theater Parking Lot	Urinating in Public & Possession of Marijuana	A 30 year old male was arrested when he was seen urinating in the parking lot. After the arrest marijuana was found in his pocket. He was later issued court summonses for the charges and turned over to another agency seeking his arrest.
6/30/11	1550 St. Louis Galleria Macy’s Department Store	Stealing	An 18 year old female was arrested for shoplifting and held pending a case review by the municipal prosecutor.
