A 17 year old male and a 16 year old juvenile accomplice were taken into custody after concealing merchandise and leaving the store without paying for it.  The 17 year old male was booked and released on a summons while the juvenile was taken to the St. Louis Family Court building when his parents could not be reached.

A resident reported he was “scammed” on Craigslist while attempting to lease an apartment in the City of Clayton. The victim saw the apartment for lease and called the contact number (in Massachusetts) for the person listing the property. The victim eventually sent $1000.00 via Western Union to the person as a deposit to hold the apartment. The victim became suspicious and found no one by the name given was involved in the listing of the property. Investigation to continue.

Sometime overnight suspect(s) had punched the door lock of the victim’s vehicle gaining entry. The vehicle had been rummaged through, but nothing had been stolen.

Drug violation A 23 year old female was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia after Officers found the items inside the residence. The suspect was booked, then released pending charges through the Richmond Heights Municipal Court.

A 31 year old male was taken into custody after being stopped for traffic violations.  A search of the suspect incident to the arrest revealed marijuana packaged for sale in his pants pocket as well as beneath the front seat of his car.  The suspect was booked at the Richmond Heights jail and issued summons for the traffic violations.   A state warrant application will be made on the marijuana possession.

A 21 year old male was taken into custody after stealing merchandise from the Hanley Shell and trying to make his getaway on a metro bus.  He was taken into custody at Dale and Big Bend Avenue and the merchandise recovered.  The suspect, who told officers he needed money for drugs, was booked and placed in a holding cell pending application of a municipal warrant.

Officers were called to the store for an unruly intoxicated subject who refused to leave Schnucks’ property.  He was taken into custody after becoming belligerent towards the officers and refusing to obey their commands.  The subject was transported to the station where he was booked and issued a summons.
